It is recommended always to have the newest available service pack installed. Hints for installing the Service Pack:
▪ Make sure that up-to-date backups of your complete combit Report Server installation directory and your databases do exist.
▪ Quit the combit Report Server and combit Report Server Designer on the server and all workstations/computers in your network.
▪ Start the Service Pack installation directly on the server or on any client, where the logged-in Windows user has full access to the central installation directory of the combit Report Server.
▪ If the Service Pack includes also an update of the Report Server Designer, the update of the Designer will be started automatically as soon as the Designer is started.
▪ Administrator rights are required for installation, in part. These rights can be confirmed via a dialog.
