Add printer

Network printers first have to be installed on the computer where the combit Report Server is installed, configured with any given user account and then imported using this wizard.

To do so, proceed as follows:

Step 1: Preparation

1.  Log in to the computer where combit Report Server is installed. The log-in can also be performed using a Remote Desktop connection.

2.  Next, install all desired network printers on the server using the Control Panel.

3.  Do not log out from the server until the import is complete. If necessary, change to a different user instead of logging out.

Step 2: Import from other user account

4.  Enter the user account credentials (domain, user name, password) that you used to log in to the server previously when installing the network printers.

Step 3: Choose printer for import

5.  Choose the desired printer for the import.

6.  After the import, this printer will be available in the section "Additional Printers Available on the Server". Click on the printer to prepare it for generating reports.
