Purpose:

Converts a string to a number based on the country code/culture identifier specified in the second (optional) parameter.

Parameter:

String          Number as string to be converted

String          (optional) Country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2, ISO 3166-1 alpha-3, ISO 3166-1 numeric-3) or culture identifier, e.g., 'US', 'USA', '840' or 'en-US'. Default: System setting

Return value:

Number

Example:

LocVal ("12","de-DE") Result: 12,00

LocVal ("12,00","en-US")      Result:1200,00
